MY Story

My name is Scott Washburn, and I was born and raised in a small ski town in Vermont. I grew up on the slopes in the winter and enjoyed all that the area had to offer in the summer. After highschool, I went to Wyoming Technical Institute and have since worked in all kinds of mechanical types of jobs. At present, I am the lead HVAC technician at a local hospital. 

I began gold panning several years ago and was totally hooked when I got my first piece. It was a tiny little piece, but it was 100% pure gold! As you can imagine, I have not stopped since. Metal detecting came along a couple of years later. I have always enjoyed the outdoors and really love sharing my adventures through my youtube channel.
